Sammy the Squirrel scampered along a thick branch, his fluffy tail bouncing behind him. He stopped to look at the yummy acorns he had found, all shiny and bright! But when he looked down, he saw his friends Bella the Bird and Toby the Tortoise by the pond, sharing seeds and berries while giggling and having fun.
"I wonder what it feels like to share," Sammy thought, feeling curious and excited.
Sammy snuggled in his cozy nest, surrounded by his acorns. But even with so many acorns, he felt a little lonely. "Why do I feel this way?" he wondered, remembering the laughter of Bella and Toby.
"Maybe sharing will help me feel better," he thought, the idea popping into his head like a little seed.
Sammy took a deep breath and filled a little bag with acorns. He hopped down his tree, excited to share with Bella and Toby. The leaves rustled around him, cheering him on.
"I hope they like my acorns!" he whispered, feeling a mix of happiness and nervousness.
Sammy ran up to his friends, his little bag of acorns swinging. Bella flapped her wings and smiled brightly. Toby looked up with a kind smile.
"I brought you something special!" Sammy said, opening his bag to show the shiny acorns. "Oh, Sammy, thank you!" chirped Bella, pecking at an acorn happily. "These will be so tasty!" Toby agreed, smiling wide.
Sammy felt a warm glow inside him, a happiness bigger than all the acorns he had. "This is what happiness feels like!" he realized, understanding that joy grows when we share.
"Let’s do this again!" Bella suggested, fluttering her feathers. "What a great idea!" Toby agreed, his eyes twinkling.
Sammy looked at the sunset, feeling peaceful inside. He knew that sharing his acorns made him happier than keeping them all to himself, and it made their friendship stronger.
"To sharing and friendship!" he said, raising an acorn high, celebrating the joy of giving.
