The boy crouched beside the creek, poking a stick into the water while his dog chased butterflies. Suddenly, a bright green frog with enormous, curious eyes hopped onto a rock right beside them.
"Hello there, little frog!"
"Woof woof! Who are you?"
Frog, with a mischievous wiggle, leaps right into the boy’s open backpack.
"Oh! You want to come with us?"
"Ribbit! Adventure awaits!"
"He’s funny! Did you see him jump on my toy car?"
"We should take him back to the creek; that’s where frogs belong."
"Ribbit! But I like it here. So many snacks and games!"
"Goodbye, frog. Stay here with your friends,"
"Ribbit ribbit! Maybe I’ll see you tomorrow!"
"He’s waving! Frogs can wave?"
"He’s back again! How did he find us?"
"Ribbit! Frogs always follow fun and friendship."
"Well, you’re certainly a determined little guy."
"I guess sometimes, you don’t have to say goodbye,"
"As long as there’s room for one more friend!"
"Ribbit ribbit! Let’s play again tomorrow!"
