Poppy lay in her bed, her eyelids growing heavy as she gazed at the glowing stars pasted on her ceiling. She snuggled deeper into her blankets, her mind drifting into dreams. "I wish I could really see Jesus," she murmured as she closed her eyes.
Suddenly, she opened her eyes and saw Jesus standing there. He smiled kindly, his presence filling the room with peace. "Hello, Poppy," he greeted her softly. Poppy rubbed her eyes in awe as she sat up, a wide smile spreading across her face. "Jesus! Are we going on an adventure?" she asked eagerly. "We are sweetheart" He responded. His eyes were filled with love that felt like a big warm hug.
Hand in hand, Poppy and Jesus soared up through the sky and into the night, laughter trailing behind them like a comet's tail. They glided over vibrant rainbows that arched across the heavens, each color shimmering with a life of its own. Poppy's eyes grew wide as shooting stars wizzed past them in blaze of glory at mesmerising speed"This is amazing!" Poppyexclaimed, her voice echoing joyfully in the vast expanse.
After soaring through the sky for awhile they settled gently on the moon. Jesus spread out a blanket right next to a great big empty sea on the moon called "Mare Crisium" and they settled down for a picnic under the celestial dome. "I've never been this close to the moon," Poppysaid, her eyes wide with wonder. "It's a special place to share your thoughts and dreams," Jesus replied.
"What's on your heart, little one?" Jesus asked gently. Poppyconfided in Jesus about her worries and hopes, feeling lighter with each word. Jesus listened intently, offering comfort and wisdom. "Remember, I'm always here to listen," he assured her. Poppy smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her heart.
After what felt like hours of chatting, laughing and even a few tears, Jesus and Poppy packed up their picnic, held each others hand and jumped back into the stratosphere, soaring back down to the safety of Poppy's little room. Jesus tucked Poppy back into her bed. Every little touch felt like a big warm hug.
