Aarav, a gentle little boy with curious eyes, stands by the door, watching the rain. He notices a tiny bundle—feathers soaked and trembling—huddled under the edge of a flowerpot. His heart aches at the sight.
"Don't be afraid, little bird. I'll help you," Aarav whispers, wrapping the shivering creature in his warm, woolen scarf. The bird's eyes flutter with hope as he places it gently in a dry, sheltered corner, away from the wind.
Aarav checks on the bird, making sure it is snug and safe. He covers it with a fold of his scarf and places a small bowl of water nearby, hoping it will recover by morning.
Aarav wakes up to a chorus of chirping. He rushes to the balcony and finds the tiny bird, now bright-eyed and full of life, hopping on the railing. Its feathers are fluffed, and it looks up at Aarav with gratitude.
"Thank you, little friend," Aarav whispers, watching as the bird chirps at his window, its song clear and joyful. For a moment, boy and bird share a silent conversation of gratitude.
Aarav smiles as he drifts into sleep, comforted by the warmth of kindness. He realizes that sometimes, the smallest act can make the biggest difference—and that a gentle heart can touch another, even if just for a moment.
