Abiy bounced out of bed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. Today was special—he would spend the entire day with Sam, his dad. "Dad, what are we going to do first?" he asked, his voice filled with anticipation. Sam, with a warm smile, replied, "How about we start with building a super cool blanket fort?"
Abiy and Sam worked together, giggling as they arranged the blankets just right. "This is the best fort ever!" Abiy exclaimed, crawling inside and pulling Sam along. Inside, they pretended to be explorers on a daring expedition. "Watch out for crocodiles!" Sam whispered, making Abiy laugh.
Sam suggested, "Let's make some paper airplanes next." Abiy eagerly agreed, choosing the brightest colors. Together, they folded and crafted airplanes, testing each one with launches across the room. "This one flies the farthest!" Abiy cheered as his plane soared.
Abiy and Sam stepped outside, the air fresh and inviting. "Let's explore the garden," Sam suggested, leading the way. They searched for bugs and discovered a ladybug on a leaf. "Look, it's so tiny!" Abiy marveled, watching it crawl.
Sam and Abiy tossed a ball back and forth, their laughter mingling with the sounds of the park. "Nice catch!" Sam praised as Abiy caught the ball with a grin. Afterward, they spread a blanket under a big oak tree, enjoying a picnic of sandwiches and juice.
As they packed up, Abiy hugged Sam tightly. "This was the best day ever, Dad," he said, his heart full of joy. Sam smiled, ruffling Abiy's hair. "I'm glad, buddy. We should do this more often," he replied, knowing that today had strengthened their bond in the most wonderful way.
