Addi, a two-year-old with curly hair and twinkling eyes, stands in the middle of the bathroom, clutching her stuffed bunny, Mr. Fluff, tightly in her arms. Her mother, Lily, kneels beside her, offering a reassuring smile. "Are you ready for your big girl adventure today?" Addi nods, her gaze shifting to the colorful potty waiting for her.
Lily points to the stickers. "Remember, each time you use the potty, you get to pick a sticker!" Addi's eyes widen with excitement, and she giggles, imagining her favorite rainbow sticker next to the others. "Okay, Mama!"
Lily sits on the floor, flipping through a picture book, pointing out the animals. "Look, Addi, there's a bunny just like Mr. Fluff!" Addi giggles, distracted momentarily by the illustrations, her focus shifting between the book and her new potty seat.
Addi frowns, looking down at her legs, unsure of what just happened. Lily quickly reassures her, "It's okay, sweetheart. Learning is all about practice." She helps Addi up, wiping away the small mishap with a gentle hand.
Mr. Fluff is back in her lap, and Addi takes a deep breath. Her focus shifts entirely to the task at hand, encouraged by her mother's supportive presence. Suddenly, she looks up, eyes bright with realization. "I did it, Mama!"
Lily claps her hands, beaming with pride. "You're amazing, Addi! Let's put that sticker on the chart." Together, they place the sticker next to the others, marking the beginning of Addi's potty training success. As Addi hugs Mr. Fluff, Lily whispers, "I'm so proud of you, my big girl."
