Addison leaped from her bed, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she hurried into the kitchen, where Tracy, her kind and caring mother, was preparing breakfast. David, her cheerful father with a charming French accent, whistled as he poured orange juice into glasses.
"Good morning, Addison! Did you sleep well?"
"Yes, Mama! I dreamt I was exploring somewhere far away," Addison grinned, her imagination already soaring.
"Tu es incroyable, Addison!" David beamed, pride shining in his eyes.
"谢谢爸爸!Thank you, Daddy! I love learning new words," Addison replied, her laughter bubbling up as her parents joined in.
"With your superpower, you can talk to so many people and go on so many adventures," Tracy said, wrapping her arms around Addison.
"This summer, you’re going to visit the south of France—your godfather and your grandmother are waiting for you!"
"Will I get to try real French cheese and see the villages you told me about, Daddy?"
"Oui, ma chérie, and so much more," David promised, his voice full of excitement.
Olivier, Addison’s adventurous godfather, sweeps her into a joyful embrace.
"Bienvenue, Addison! Welcome to France! Are you ready for our grand adventure?"
"Oui, I can’t wait!" Addison replied, her heart fluttering with excitement as they set out together.
"Bonjour, Madame! Bonjour, Monsieur!" Addison greeted the vendors, her French making them beam with delight.
"You’re making friends everywhere you go. That’s your real treasure, Addison," Olivier whispered as they sampled strawberries and picked out wildflowers for the table.
Mamie, Addison’s loving grandmother, serves warm soup and sits beside her at the table.
"When I was your age, Addison, I also dreamed of faraway places," she began, her eyes sparkling with memories.
"Tell me everything, Mamie! I want to hear all your stories," Addison replied, hanging on every word as the evening sun set outside.
"Let’s sing our special song, Addison," Mamie suggested, her voice gentle.
"Oui, Mamie! La vie est belle, la vie est belle..." Addison sang, their voices mingling as stars appeared overhead.
"We’ll be waiting for your next adventure, Addison,"
"Remember, you carry our love with you, wherever you go,"
"I promise I’ll come back," Addison whispered, waving as the train carried her toward new memories.
"Mon trésor, you’ve grown so much this summer," David said, lifting her into a warm embrace.
"I have so many adventures to tell you and Mama!" Addison laughed, feeling the comfort of home.
"Go show your friends how special you are, Addison," Tracy encouraged, smoothing Addison’s hair.
"I will, Mama! And I’ll always remember our magical summer," Addison promised, stepping out into a world filled with new adventures.
