Jennifer, Max, and Nina stood wide-eyed, marveling at the portal that had appeared out of nowhere. "What do you think it is?" asked Nina, her voice tinged with excitement.
"Only one way to find out," grinned Max, stepping toward the swirling light.
"Let's do it together," said Jennifer, reaching out her hands. United in their curiosity, the friends clasped hands and, with a shared breath of anticipation, stepped through the portal.
Spark, a baby dragon with iridescent, azure scales, bounded up to them. He chirped joyfully, eyes gleaming with curiosity and friendliness. "Hello, new friends!"
"Wow, you can talk!" exclaimed Jennifer, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Of course! Welcome to Dragon Land!" Spark giggled, twirling in the air.
Max touched a crystal, marveling at its cool surface. "This place is incredible," he said, his voice filled with awe.
"I've never seen anything like it," agreed Nina, watching as a group of dragons performed an aerial dance overhead.
"And to think we almost missed it," added Jennifer, smiling at Spark.
"I'm so glad you came," Spark murmured, his eyes drooping sleepily.
"We are too, Spark. We've learned so much," said Nina, gently patting his head.
"And we've made a friend we'll never forget," added Max, looking up at the stars now twinkling above.
"We'll miss you, Spark," said Jennifer, her voice tinged with emotion.
"And I'll miss you all. Remember, you'll always have a place here in Dragon Land," replied Spark, giving them a fond look.
With a final hug, the friends turned toward the portal, their adventure in Dragon Land leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. As they stepped through, they knew they had experienced something magical, something that would remain with them forever.
