Benny climbed onto the bus, his energy palpable as he bounced from seat to seat, unable to sit still. Danny followed, his cheeks puffed out as he prepared to make animal noises, much to his classmates' amusement. Claire settled by the window, humming a tune as she stared dreamily at the passing clouds. Veronica, with her new gap-toothed smile, joined the lively crew, sharing stories of how she lost her tooth.
"I bet I can reach the ceiling!" Benny exclaimed, attempting to leap from his seat. "Moo!" Danny replied, his imitation of a cow drawing giggles from the group. "The clouds look like marshmallows," Claire mused, her eyes fixed on the sky. "I got a dollar from the Tooth Fairy!" Veronica announced proudly.
The bus driver occasionally glances in the mirror, amused by the children's antics but maintaining focus on the road. "Watch out, Benny!" someone shouted as Benny narrowly avoided a tumble. "Roar!" Danny added to the cacophony, his lion impression echoing. "It's like a concert in here," Claire laughed, her melody unwavering.
"I can't wait to tell my friends about my tooth," Veronica said, her excitement infectious. Benny finally sat still, his eyes wide as he gazed out the window. "I need new sounds for tomorrow," Danny pondered aloud, planning his next performance. Claire's singing quieted, replaced by a serene smile as she watched the world outside.
"Let's do this again tomorrow!" Benny cheered, his spirit undampened. "I'll bring my best animal impressions," Danny promised, his eyes twinkling mischievously. "And I'll sing a new song," Claire added, already dreaming of new melodies. "Maybe another tooth will fall out!" Veronica hoped, her smile bright as she stepped off the bus.
