Alex woke up feeling a little different today. His tummy hurt, and he didn't feel like playing with his toys. "Mommy, my tummy feels funny," he said, looking up with big curious eyes. His mom knelt beside him, brushing his curly hair aside. "Let's go see some friendly people who can help," she reassured him with a warm smile.
The hospital was a big place, but it was full of bright colors and happy pictures on the walls. Alex held onto his stuffed dinosaur tightly as they entered. Nurse Jenny, a cheerful lady with a gentle voice, greeted them. "Hello, Alex! We're going to take great care of you," she said, leading them to a special room.
Dr. Sam, a kind man with a friendly smile and a stethoscope around his neck, came in to see Alex. "Hello, young explorer! I hear you're not feeling well," he said, kneeling down to meet Alex's eyes. Alex nodded shyly but felt a little better with Dr. Sam's comforting presence.
Nurse Jenny brought a big book of stories and sat beside Alex. "Would you like to hear about a brave little bear?" she asked. As she read, Alex listened intently, his imagination painting pictures of adventures in his mind. The stories were magical, making him forget all about his tummy ache.
Alex met other children in a playroom filled with toys and laughter. They were all there for different reasons, but together, they created a world of fun and giggles. "Let's build a castle!" one child suggested, and soon, they were all stacking blocks and sharing stories of their own.
As night fell, Alex cuddled with his dinosaur, the room softly glowing with nightlights shaped like stars. Nurse Jenny checked in to make sure he was comfortable. "You're very brave, Alex. Tomorrow, you'll feel much better," she whispered. Alex smiled, feeling safe and ready for sweet dreams, knowing he was surrounded by friends who cared.
