Kara the Kangaroo bounces around the meadow, her strong tail making little puffs of dust. She stops and smiles at Kiki the Koala, who sits hugging a eucalyptus branch. Nearby, Simon the Snake slithers smoothly over a warm rock, while Scotti the Spider hangs from a silvery thread between two blades of grass.
"Let’s play together today!" Kara announces, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Kiki the Koala claps her paws together and says, "How about a game of tag?"
Simon the Snake looks a little worried. "I don’t have legs like you. I can only slither slowly," he says quietly.
Scotti the Spider chimes in, "And I’m so tiny! I might get stepped on by accident."
Kara frowns, her big ears drooping a little. "Oh no! I want everyone to have fun. How can we make sure we all can play?"
Kiki thinks hard, chewing her eucalyptus leaf. "Maybe we can play a game that everyone can join, no matter how we move," she suggests.
Sparky wiggles her eight little legs. "What if we build something together? I can spin a web, and Sly can help me find the best spots!"
Sly perks up. "I love slithering through tall grass and under rocks. I can help carry twigs!"
Kara and Kiki nod eagerly, excited to help.
Kara hops to gather big leaves, Kiki brings soft moss, Sly glides into tight spaces to find tiny sticks, and Sparky weaves beautiful threads. Everyone laughs and cheers as their new web house takes shape, looking bright and cozy in the sun.
Kiki snuggles close to Kara. "I’m so glad we found a way to have fun together," she says softly.
Sparky nods, sparkling with pride. "It’s wonderful when everyone’s differences are welcomed,"
Sly grins, feeling included. "We all helped in our own special way,"
Kara bounces happily. "That’s what makes us best friends!"
