Amina sat up, rubbing her sleepy eyes, feeling excitement flutter in her heart. Today, she wanted to learn how to pray Salah, just like Mama and Baba. As she tiptoed to her new prayer mat, a gentle, magical shimmer sparkled around it, and suddenly, a glowing bird with feathers like sunbeams appeared.
Noor, the magical bird, landed softly beside her, its eyes twinkling with kindness.
"Assalamu Alaikum, Amina! Are you ready for a magical journey to learn Salah?"
"Wa Alaikum Assalam, Noor! Yes, I’m ready!"
Noor fluttered his wings, guiding Amina towards the brook.
"Before Salah, we wash and get clean—let's make Wudu and feel serene!"
Amina giggled, rolling up her sleeves and splashing water on her hands, face, and feet, copying Noor’s cheerful instructions.
"Bismillah! In the name of Allah, we begin," sang Noor, their voices echoing in a happy rhyme.
Noor flapped his wings, and the magical prayer mat floated gently onto the grass.
"Now we pray Fajr, the first Salah, when the world is quiet—just you and Allah,"
Amina listened as Noor showed her how to stand, bow, and prostrate, each move gentle and graceful.
"Allahu Akbar—God is the Greatest! Let’s say our intention: O Allah, I pray to You, guide me to be true!"
"There are five daily prayers: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha," chirped Noor.
Amina twirled on the mat, giggling as she learned the names and times, repeating them in a sing-song voice.
"For every prayer, say ‘SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar’—Glory be to Allah, all praise to Allah, Allah is the Greatest!"
Amina clapped her hands, her heart brimming with gratitude and excitement.
"Salah teaches kindness, respect, and to say thank you," said Noor.
Amina knelt, placing her hands together and whispered a little dua:
"O Allah, help me be kind and thankful every day. اللهم اجعلني من الشاكرين (Allahumma ij‘alni min ash-shakireen)—O Allah, make me among the grateful."
Her heart felt light as a feather, filled with the sweetness of prayer and love.
Noor perched atop the highest balloon, glowing brighter than ever.
"You’ve learned all five prayers, Amina! Eid Mubarak—may your prayers shine bright every day!"
Amina beamed, hugging her parents and sharing sweets with everyone, whispering a final bedtime dua:
"O Allah, thank You for my family, my friends, and my prayers. الحمد لله (Alhamdulillah)—All praise is for Allah."
She snuggled into bed, her magical prayer mat tucked beside her, dreams full of light, kindness, and joy.
