Linda and her son Max stepped out of the car. They were vey excited. Max clutched a small toy car, his fingers twitching with anticipation.
"It's so wonderful to see you!" Sarah exclaimed, while hugging her friend. Ethan and Lucas shuffled forward, eyeing Max with interest. "Do you want to play with us?" Ethan asked eagerly.
The boys sprinted towards the playground, their feet pounding against the earth. Max felt his heart race with joy as he joined Ethan and Lucas in a whirlwind of playful energy. Lucas , try the slide! It's super fast!" Lucas shouted, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Max reached for a sturdy branch, his fingers gripping tightly as he pulled himself up. Ethan and Lucas followed suit, their laughter mingling with the rustling leaves. "Look how high we are!" Max exclaimed, his voice filled with wonder.
" Max , you're really fun to play with," Lucas said, loudly. Ethan added, nodding enthusiastically. Max beamed, feeling a warmth spread through him that had nothing to do with the sun.
Linda and Max said their goodbyes, promising to return soon. Max waved until Ethan and Lucas were out of sight, the memory of the day etched in his mind like the constellations now emerging in the night sky.
