Asha, a five-year-old girl with a wild imagination and tangled brown hair, knelt by the window, gazing eagerly outside. Lily, her loyal sausage dog, wagged her tail so hard her whole body wiggled. "Lily, are you ready to go around the whole world?" Lily barked in agreement, spinning in a happy circle.
Asha tiptoed through the 'jungle', pushing aside overgrown branches (really, mum’s tomato plants) as Lily sniffed the air for adventure. "Careful, Lily, there might be tigers!" she whispered, glancing around with wide eyes. Lily paused, nose twitching, then darted bravely toward a fluttering butterfly, chasing it deeper into the wilderness.
Asha wiped imaginary sweat from her brow and trudged across the 'hot sand', her purple boots leaving tiny prints behind. Lily followed, tongue lolling, occasionally stopping to dig for treasure. "We have to find water soon, or we'll turn into camels!" she declared, giggling as she poured a cup of imaginary tea from her play set.
Asha clambered up the 'mountain', using socks as footholds and laughing as Lily scrambled after her, ears flapping. At the summit, they looked out across the yard, imagining an entire world at their feet. "Look, Lily! I can see all the way to the North Pole from here!"
Asha shrieked with delight as the 'rain' fell, spinning in circles and holding her arms wide. Lily dashed through the spray, snapping at the water and barking with joy. "Quick! Into the cave!" Asha called, diving under the picnic table where they huddled together, safe and giggling.

Asha leaned her head on Lily's soft fur, her eyes growing heavy. "We really did go around the world, didn't we, Lily?" Lily thumped her tail in agreement, nuzzling closer as the last light faded and the stars began to twinkle, promising more adventures tomorrow.
