Jack stood tall on the highest rock, his mane catching the dawn light. With a deep breath, he roared across the land, his voice echoing through the trees and stirring the animals below.
"I am strong! I am loud! I am ready to be king!" He commanded, eager for the world to hear.
Jack paced at the base of the outcrop, issuing orders to the animals who dared not approach him.
"Bring me water! Gather fruit for me!" he demanded, but only the wind replied. The jungle felt empty, the warmth of camaraderie replaced by the chill of fear.
The wise tortoise watched Jack with gentle eyes, waiting for the right moment.
"A king needs friends, not fear," the tortoise finally spoke, his voice low but clear.
Jack paused, uncertain, as the tortoise continued,
"Strength is not the same as respect. Loudness does not bring loyalty."
Lightning flashed as Jack spotted the deer, her helpless cries barely audible above the storm.
He looked around, realizing the animals were nowhere to be found. Remembering the tortoise’s words, he softened his voice and called out.
"Friends, I need your help. Together, we can save her."
With calm words and steady courage, Jack directed the animals. The elephants used their trunks to block the flow, monkeys formed a chain to reach the deer, and birds chirped encouragement from above.
"Thank you all. We are stronger together," he said, as the deer was gently carried to safety.

The animals gathered around Jack, no longer afraid, but filled with trust and admiration.
"You are truly ready to be king," said the wise tortoise, smiling.
Jack bowed his head, understanding that kindness, courage, and care were the heart of true leadership.
