Bailey bursts through the door, her small backpack bouncing behind her. Her eyes widen with delight as she spots Oma sitting on the couch, her face framed with long brown hair and a welcoming smile. "Oma! You're here!"
"I've got something special planned for us today," Oma announces, holding up a hand-drawn map.
Bailey's eyes gleam with excitement as she reaches for a cookie. "Are we going on an adventure?"
Oma explains the route with enthusiasm, pointing out landmarks drawn in crayon. "We'll start at the big oak tree, then follow the path to the secret garden," she explains.
Bailey nods eagerly, her fingers tracing the path. "I can't wait!"
Bailey holds the map tightly, leading the way with an air of importance. "Look, Oma, there's the big oak tree!" she exclaims, pointing ahead. Oma chuckles, following her granddaughter's lead.
Bailey gasps in delight, rushing forward to open the box. Inside, she finds a collection of shiny pebbles, feathers, and a small note from Oma.
"Every adventure is a treasure, my dear," the note reads.
"This was the best day ever, Oma," Bailey declares, her head resting on Oma's shoulder.
"And there will be many more," Oma promises, wrapping an arm around her granddaughter. Together, they watch as the stars begin to twinkle in the evening sky.
