Bart Simpson's mischievous eyes scanned the playground until they landed on his target, Cole Harper, the new kid in town. Adjusting his slingshot cap, Bart leaned back against the tree trunk, a devious grin stretching across his face.
"Just you wait, Cole. This is gonna be epic," he muttered, pulling a whoopee cushion from his backpack with a flourish.
Bart scribbled furiously on a sheet of paper, outlining his elaborate scheme. Nearby, his loyal friend, Milhouse, watched with wide eyes, nodding in encouragement.
"We'll slip this under Cole's chair just before Ms. Krabappel's class," Bart explained, pointing to the whoopee cushion.
"And this fake homework will really throw him off," Milhouse added, holding up a paper filled with nonsensical equations and doodles.
Bart casually walked past Cole's desk, discreetly slipping the whoopee cushion into place. He then handed Cole the fake homework, wearing an innocent expression.
"What's this?" Cole asked, examining the paper.
"Just a little help from a friend," Bart replied with a wink.
The loud, unmistakable sound echoed through the room, and the class erupted into laughter. Cole's face turned crimson, but he managed a sheepish smile, joining in the laughter.
"Gotcha!" Bart whispered, giving Milhouse a high-five.
Cole approached Bart, a curious expression on his face.
"You got me good, Simpson," he admitted, extending a hand.
"Just a little welcome to Springfield, buddy," Bart replied, shaking Cole's hand with a grin.
Bart tossed a basketball to Cole, who caught it effortlessly, a newfound camaraderie forming between them.
"Let's see what other adventures we can find," Bart suggested, bouncing the ball with a mischievous glint in his eye.
"I'm in," Cole replied, dribbling the ball with a smile.
Together, they headed toward the basketball court, ready to turn a prank into the start of an unexpected friendship.
