Batgirl sat comfortably on the sofa, her cape draped elegantly over her shoulder. Little Alex, a cheerful boy with bright eyes, nestled beside her, eagerly listening to the tale of Little Red Riding Hood. "And then Little Red Riding Hood said, 'What big eyes you have, Grandma!'" Batgirl narrated, her voice filled with playful suspense.
Alex donned a red scarf as his makeshift hood, giggling with excitement. Batgirl, now playfully hunched like a wolf, prowled behind the sofa. "Grandma, why do you have such big arms?" Alex asked with a mischievous grin.
"So I can squeeze you better!" Batgirl exclaimed, reaching out and gently pulling Alex into a warm embrace. He laughed, his small arms wrapping around her in return.
Alex, now lying comfortably on the sofa, snuggled under Batgirl's cape. She adjusted the pillows around him, ensuring he was cozy. "You make the best wolf, Batgirl," he murmured sleepily.
Batgirl smiled, brushing a stray lock of hair from Alex's forehead. "And you, the bravest Little Red Riding Hood," she whispered. Alex's breathing slowed as he drifted into a peaceful nap, still nestled against Batgirl.
Batgirl gazed out at the night sky, feeling a sense of contentment. Moments like these, filled with laughter and warmth, were treasures she cherished. As Alex slept, she knew that the stories they shared would become lasting memories.
