Benny the Bunny hops cheerfully through the bright meadow, his fluffy white tail bobbing behind him as he nibbles on a patch of fresh clover. The sky is a brilliant blue, and birds sing overhead, but Benny's eyes keep darting nervously toward the shadowy forest nearby. He shivers slightly, whispering to himself, "I hope I never have to go in there. It looks so scary."
Lila the Squirrel[/@ch_2], Benny's best friend, scurries about, her bushy tail flickering as she gathers acorns into a tiny pile.]
Lila the Squirrel waves excitedly, calling out, "Come play hide and seek with me, Benny!" Benny smiles but hesitates when Lila suggests, "Let's hide near the forest! It's more fun there." He shakes his head, his ears drooping, "Maybe we can just stay out here in the sunshine?"
Lila[/@ch_2] darts playfully toward the dark forest's edge, giggling, and disappears between the trees.]
Benny freezes, his heart thumping. He waits and waits, but Lila doesn't come back. The forest suddenly seems even darker and more frightening. Benny whispers, "What if something happened to her? But... the forest is so scary..."
Benny takes a deep breath, his whiskers twitching. He remembers all the times Lila helped him, and how much he cares for his friend. Though his paws tremble, he says softly, "I have to help Lila, even if I'm scared." Gathering all his courage, Benny hops bravely toward the dark forest.
Benny calls out, "Lila! Where are you?" His voice echoes, and soon he hears a faint reply: "Benny, I’m stuck!" Following the sound, Benny finds Lila tangled in a patch of vines. With gentle paws, he helps free her, and together they hurry out of the shadows and back into the warm, golden light of the meadow.
Benny[/@ch_1] and Lila sit together, safe and happy, near their favorite patch of clover. The forest now seems a little less frightening with his friend by his side.]
Lila hugs Benny, saying gratefully, "You were so brave, Benny! Thank you for rescuing me." Benny smiles shyly, feeling proud, "I was scared, but I knew I had to help you. I think that's what courage means." The two friends laugh, chasing butterflies, knowing that bravery lives in every bunny’s heart.
