Benny the Bunny hopped in circles, his long ears flopping with each leap. The scent of fresh earth and sweet grass filled the air as he admired his prize—two crisp carrots, just pulled from the garden.
"Today is a perfect day for a snack," he chirped, his nose twitching with excitement.
Mia the Bunny, shy but sweet, shuffled closer, her paws barely making a sound on the grassy floor. She glanced at the carrots, then at Benny, her ears drooping a little as her stomach gave a soft grumble.
"Hi Benny... Those carrots look delicious," she whispered, trying to hide her hunger.
Benny looked at his carrots, then at Mia's hopeful face. He remembered how nice it felt to share, but also how much he loved carrots.
"I have two," he pondered aloud, a thoughtful look on his face. "Maybe I don't need both to be happy."
"Here, Mia! You can have one of mine," he said warmly, his own heart filling with joy as he watched her face light up.
"Thank you, Benny! You're the best friend ever," she beamed, hugging the carrot close.
"Carrots taste better when you share them," Benny giggled, his eyes shining with happiness.
"I agree! Everything is more fun with a friend," replied Mia, her smile as bright as the morning sun.
Benny looked at Mia, feeling proud of his choice. The world felt warmer and kinder now, all because he had shared.
"Sharing is caring, Mia," he said quietly, and she nodded, knowing he was right.
