Benny the Bear bounded into the classroom, his eyes wide with excitement. The holiday in the forest had been fun, but he missed his friends and the joyful buzz of school. Overwhelmed with joy, he let out a loud "RAWWRRR!" His friends giggled and covered their ears.
Ms. Owl, the wise teacher, fluttered her wings gently. "Benny, in our classroom, we use quiet voices," she reminded him with a kind smile. Benny nodded, his ears slightly drooping. "Okay, quiet voices!"
Benny was eager to play with the puzzles. He reached over and took some pieces from Mia the Mouse, who looked up with big, teary eyes. Ms. Owl noticed and glided over to them. "We wait and take turns. We are kind friends," she gently advised. Benny's ears drooped further. "I'm sorry, Mia. Let's do the puzzle together!"
During snack time, Benny remembered to use his manners. He politely asked for his favorite honey crackers, saying "Please" and "Thank you." Leo the Lion struggled with his juice box, and Benny quickly offered to help. Ms. Owl watched with a proud twinkle in her eye.
Ms. Owl addressed the class, "Benny, you're showing great classroom rules! What are they?" Benny stood tall, and with a softer roar this time, "Use quiet voices, take turns, be kind, and help friends!" The class erupted into applause, and Benny felt a warm glow of pride.
Benny knew this was just the beginning of a great year ahead. He was excited to learn, play, and grow with his friends, ready to embrace every new day with enthusiasm and kindness.
