Baby Blake sat eagerly in his highchair, his eyes wide with excitement. His small hands clapped together as he babbled joyfully, anticipating the day's adventure. Mummy smiled warmly, placing a plate of fresh pancakes before him, while Daddy busied himself packing a picnic basket full of treats.
Mummy turned to Baby Blake in the back seat, pointing to a distant hill where sheep grazed lazily. "Look, Blake! The sheep are out today," she exclaimed softly. Blake giggled and pointed with his tiny fingers. "We're almost at the farm, buddy," Daddy added with a wink.
Blake toddled along the path, his parents close behind. He giggled as a curious lamb nudged his hand. "Gently, Blake," Mummy reminded him with a chuckle. Daddy knelt beside Blake, helping him pluck a ripe strawberry, its red surface glistening in the sunlight. "Let's pick some for our picnic," he suggested.
Blake squealed with delight as Mummy spread out a colorful blanket beneath a towering oak tree. "Time for our picnic!" she announced, unpacking sandwiches and juice. Daddy retrieved a ball from the basket, and soon laughter filled the air as they played an animated game of catch.
Daddy covered his eyes, counting aloud, while Mummy guided Blake to a hiding spot behind a large bush. "Shh, Blake," she whispered, stifling a laugh as Blake peered through the leaves. "Ready or not, here I come!" Daddy called, his voice echoing through the trees.
Mummy gathered the picnic remnants as Daddy hoisted a tired but happy Blake onto his shoulders. "What a wonderful day we've had," Mummy remarked, smiling at Blake, who yawned in response. "Let's come back soon," Daddy agreed, as they made their way back to the car, the promise of more adventures lingering in the cool evening air.
