Bodie stood by the shoreline, scanning the sandy beach with a worried frown. Today was supposed to be fun, but he couldn't stop thinking about Racoony, his beloved stuffed animal, lost somewhere in the dunes.
Bodie trudged along the shoreline, occasionally calling out for Racoony. Boomer, the friendly Great Dane, bounded over, his tongue lolling out in a perpetual grin. "Looking for something, little buddy?" he barked, slobber flying.
"What are we searching for today, Bodie?" Baby yipped, his eyes bright with curiosity. Bodie explained his predicament, gesturing to the huge beach in front of him .Baby barked excitedly, ready to help.
Boomer's nose twitched, and he bounded towards a mound of sand, tail wagging vigorously. "I think I found something!" he called, digging enthusiastically. Baby joined in, sand flying behind them.
Bodie rushed over, hope in his eyes. There, peeking out from the sand, was Racoony, a little sandy but safe. "Thank you, thank you!" Bodie exclaimed, hugging Racoony tight and giving Boomer and Baby grateful pats.
Bodie, Boomer, and Baby went home with smiles on all of their faces."We make quite the team," Baby giggled. Bodie nodded, feeling grateful for his new friends and the adventure they'd shared.
