Boo the Bear hugs his knees and looks around with big, hopeful eyes. Where is his favorite pink heart bubble pop? He sighs, missing its fun popping sound.
"Mamma, where did my bubble pop go? I can't find it!"
Mamma Bear, tall and gentle in her purple floral dress, kneels beside him, her kind face full of love.
"Let's look together, Boo. Maybe it is hiding somewhere silly!"
Boo the Bear lifts his toy car, peeks behind his pillow, and even checks inside his tiny red shoes. No bubble pop! He pouts and rubs his nose.
"It's lost forever, Mamma!"
Mamma Bear smiles and tickles him.
"Silly Boo, toys like to play hide and seek. Let's keep looking or try something new!"
Boo the Bear presses his nose to the cold window and sighs. His pink heart bubble pop is gone, and now he can't even splash in puddles.
"I want my toy. I want to play outside. Rain, rain, go away!"
Mamma Bear brings him a soft towel and gives him a snuggly hug.
Bunny, wearing a little yellow raincoat, bounces next to Boo and wiggles his whiskers.
"Why so sad, Boo Bear? Did you eat a lemon? You look all frowny-wowny!"
Boo the Bear shakes his head.
"My bubble pop is gone. And it’s raining. Nothing is fun."
Bunny grins wide and reaches into his bag.
"Let’s build a puzzle! I have the dinosaur one with the silly tail!"
Boo the Bear claps his paws when the puzzle is finished. The dinosaur is smiling, just like him now!
"Playing new games is fun! I miss my bubble pop, but I love puzzles too!"
Bunny does a happy hop.
"See? We made a silly dino! Next, let’s build a tower as tall as Mamma Bear!"
Foxy the Fox, wearing a green scarf, waves Boo’s pink heart bubble pop in the air.
"Look what I found at my house! Someone left a bubble pop after our playdate!"
Boo the Bear's eyes grow wide. He bounces up and down.
"My bubble pop! Hooray, Foxy, you’re the best!"
Boo the Bear hugs all his friends tight.
"I love my bubble pop, and I love my friends even more!"
Bunny wiggles his ears.
"Let’s play all the games, together forever!"
Mamma Bear smiles, her eyes twinkling like the sun after rain.
"Nothing is ever truly lost, Boo. Sometimes, it just goes on an adventure!"
