Bruno wags his tail furiously, his eyes locked on the red ball as he prances around the room. His energy fills the space with warmth and laughter, and every bounce of his paws sends toys skittering.
"Today feels like a day for adventure!" he barks, nudging the ball toward the door with his nose.
Bruno bounds outside, chasing after the ball as it rolls into the sunlight. Suddenly, a peculiar shimmer appears in the air, swirling around his ears and tickling his fur. He leaps, trying to catch the shimmering light.
"What’s that? It tickles!" he yelps, spinning in circles as the wind lifts him higher than usual.
Bruno's ears flap in the wind, and his tail whirls like a propeller. He floats at first, then realizes he can steer by stretching his legs and leaning into the breeze. Surprised and delighted, he barks at the clouds.
"I’m flying! I’m really flying!" His voice echoes joyfully across the sky, startling a flock of birds who swoop alongside him.
Bruno experiments with loops and spins, his laughter ringing out as he dives and climbs. He finds he can play fetch with the birds, tossing sticks through the clouds and catching them mid-air.
"Who knew fetch could be so much fun up here?" he calls out to a particularly bold robin flying beside him.
Bruno slows, hovering uncertainly as clouds drift by. He wonders how he’ll get back and if his family misses him. The magical wind seems to sense his worry, gently nudging him toward home.
"I love flying, but I don’t want to stay away forever," he whispers, feeling the wind’s soft encouragement.
Bruno is greeted with hugs and laughter, his magical adventure glowing in his memory. He curls up by the window, watching the last light fade, dreaming of the skies he’ll explore tomorrow.
"Maybe I’ll teach my family to fly next time," he sighs contentedly, drifting off to sleep as stars twinkle above.
