Ever since that airplane soared above my house, something magical awakened inside me. The world seemed to pause as I watched its wings slice through the clouds, casting a fleeting shadow over my backyard. My heart danced with excitement—a secret wish blooming with every beat.
I picture myself in a crisp, shiny uniform, the golden stripes on my shoulders catching the morning sun. My hands grip the steering controls inside a vast cockpit, lights blinking and buttons gleaming all around. With every swoosh of my toy plane, I can almost feel the engines rumble beneath my feet.
I study maps carefully, tracing invisible routes across oceans and mountains. I practice my pilot voice, speaking clearly into my pretend radio: "Control tower, this is Captain Me, ready for takeoff. All systems go!" I imagine the steady calm needed to guide people safely, always thinking of their smiles as the wheels leave the ground.
Sometimes, I close my eyes and picture myself soaring over snowy mountains, deep blue oceans, and sprawling cities where the lights look like tiny jewels. The clouds part around me, and for a moment, I am alone with the birds and the sun as it dips below the horizon. The world feels endless, and every journey seems possible.
One day, I’ll be more than a dreamer. I’ll be Captain Me, guiding people to new places and new adventures. I want to make every passenger feel safe and happy, whether we’re crossing continents or chasing the sunrise.
As the airplane disappears into the endless sky, I whisper my wish to the wind. "One day, that will be me—flying my dream across the world, high above the clouds." And with each passing day, my dream grows stronger, soaring just like the planes I love.
