Capy the Capybara, with his warm brown fur and big, gentle eyes, wakes up and stretches by the riverbank. He listens to the birds singing and feels happy to start a new day. Today, he hopes to find some tasty reeds and maybe a new friend to share them with.
Lila the Little Duck, with soft yellow feathers, waddles over, quacking cheerfully. Milo the Monkey, swinging down from a branch, grins mischievously. "Good morning, Capy! Want to play with us?" "Let’s have a race to the other side of the river!"
Capy looks at the wide river and feels a little worried—he isn’t as fast as his friends. But he smiles and nods, remembering how fun it is to try his best. "I’ll join! Let’s all cheer for each other, no matter who wins," he suggests.
"Help! I’m stuck!" Capy quickly paddles over. With patience and care, he uses his strong teeth and gentle paws to free Lila. "Don’t worry, I’m here for you," he says kindly.
"Capy, you’re the best friend ever!" "Thank you for helping me," says Lila, nuzzling Capy. "We all have something special to share—helping each other is what makes us winners," Capy replies, feeling proud.
Capy thinks about the day and smiles, knowing that kindness and teamwork are more important than winning a race. "Every day is better when we care for each other," he says softly, as the river sings a gentle lullaby and the friends snuggle close for the night.
