Catdog bustled about, eager to make Christmas perfect. Dog bounced from foot to foot, tail wagging with excitement for the coming celebration. "Dog, I’ll check the refrigerator for the turkey," Cat announced, only to frown moments later, peering into the empty fridge.
"Dog, there’s no turkey! We can’t have Christmas dinner without turkey!" Dog rolled his eyes, hopping onto a stool. "It doesn’t matter what we eat as long as we’re with friends. Mashed potatoes can be just as good!" Cat shook his head firmly. "Turkey is the only food in all of Nearbrug for Christmas, Dog! We really need one," he insisted, voice tinged with desperation.

"There’s no time to panic. There’s one thing we can do," Dog said, his paw hovering over a bright red call button. "What is it?" asked Cat. "We can call the Disney Junior Club for help," Dog replied cheerfully, pressing the button before Cat could protest. Cat facepalmed as, with a flash of light, Flicker, Rusty, Pat, and Pooh appeared in the room.
"Did you make the turkey yet?" Rusty asked. "No, we’re out of turkey," Cat admitted sadly. "Don’t worry. I have turkey," Pat said with a grin. "You do?!" Cat gasped, eyes wide. "Well, not a cooked one. I found a real turkey—out back!" Pat announced, pointing to the yard where a plump turkey strutted, feathers gleaming in the lantern light.

"Cat, are you alright?" Flicker asked, as Cat eyed the turkey hungrily. Suddenly, the turkey let out a loud gobble and dashed off, wings flapping. Cat bolted after it, axe in mouth, slipping and sliding across the snow. "Cat, slow down! Stop chasing the turkey!" Dog called, but Cat shook his head, determined.
"He’s still chasing the turkey," Pooh sighed. "How do we stop him?" Flicker wondered aloud. "I have an idea!" Pat exclaimed. He produced a bright red ball of yarn and tossed it across the snowy yard. Instantly, Cat dropped the axe and pounced on the yarn, batting it around with delight.
"Now that’s over, we can finally celebrate Christmas!" Rusty cheered. "Wait up, everyone!" Cat called, scampering in with the ball of yarn still tangled around his paws. Together, Cat, Dog, Flicker, Rusty, Pat, and Pooh sat down to enjoy a joyful Christmas, proving that friendship—and maybe a little yarn—was all they ever needed.
