Amy burst through the front door, her blonde curls bouncing with each excited step. Her backpack dangled from one shoulder, barely hanging on. "Mama, did you know?" she called out, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.
Mama sat on the couch, a mug of tea in hand, her eyes twinkling with anticipation. "What did you learn today, sweetheart?" she asked, patting the space beside her.
Amy climbed onto the couch, her face alight with excitement. "Mama, did you know that dinosaurs used to roam the Earth? And they were so big, even bigger than our house!" she exclaimed, stretching her arms wide to illustrate the enormity of these ancient creatures.
Mama listened intently, her heart swelling with pride. "That's incredible, Amy. Dinosaurs are quite fascinating, aren't they?" she replied, encouraging her daughter's curiosity.
Amy nodded vigorously, her eyes shining. "And Mama, Miss Clara said there are stars so far away that it takes years for their light to reach us. Isn't that amazing?" she whispered, her voice filled with awe.
Mama hugged Amy close, her heart full. "You always teach me something new, my little explorer," she said softly, marveling at the world through her daughter's eyes.
