"La la laaaa! Quack-quack-quack! Splash splash SPLASH!"
Daisy the Duck sang louder as she twirled in the cool water, her feathers gleaming and her song echoing across the pond. She loved her morning routine, letting the water rush over her as she made up silly songs, sometimes singing for what felt like forever. The pond seemed endless, and her joy filled every corner of it.
"Oh no! Where did the water go?"
Freddy the Frog landed near her, his eyes wide and anxious, and croaked softly. "Daisy, the pond is running out of water! We need to save it!" The gentle ripples seemed smaller, and the once-deep pond now looked more like a shallow puddle.
"But I love my morning showers and singing time," Daisy sighed, her beak dipping sadly.
"What if you try a short song? One that lasts just 5 minutes? When the song ends, the shower ends!" Freddy suggested, his mind racing with possibilities.
Daisy's eyes brightened at the idea. "That sounds fun! Will you help me make the song?"
"Of course! Let’s call it the '5-Minute Shower Song,'" Freddy replied, already strumming his tiny leaf guitar.
"Wash my wings, wash my toes, Wiggle my tail and touch my nose! Flap-flap, splash-splash, Rinse off fast and save the splash!"
They sang and timed their new song, making sure it lasted just five minutes. With each verse, Daisy danced and washed, while Freddy kept the beat, both of them laughing as they perfected their catchy tune.
"Wash my wings, wash my toes..."
Daisy sang her song, scrubbing and splashing to the rhythm. As the last note faded, she stopped and looked around, the water still deep and inviting. "Done! And look, Freddy! The pond still has water!" she quacked with pride, her eyes sparkling with accomplishment.
Soon, every animal in the pond sang their own short shower songs, washing quickly and cheerfully. The pond stayed fresh and full, and everyone celebrated with a big splash party under the sun. Daisy and Freddy watched happily, knowing that by singing together, they had saved their home and taught their friends the joy of saving water.
