Dora clings tightly to her friend, Boots, as they tiptoe through the misty woods, both their eyes wide with unease. Suddenly, a ghostly figure floats out from behind a tree, its translucent form shimmering in the moonlight. The ghost lets out a spine-chilling wail, and leaves rustle violently in the gusty wind.
"Ahh! Boots, run! There's a ghost!"
"Let's get out of here, Dora!"
Dora and Boots spot Geo Umizoomi near a sparkling stream, collecting pebbles. Their faces show relief, but fear still lingers in their trembling hands.
"Geo! Geo! There's a ghost in the woods, and it scared us so much!"
"Don't worry, Dora and Boots! We can help you scare the ghost away. Let's come up with a plan."
Dora[/@ch_1] opens her trusty purple backpack, which sits brightly atop a mossy log. Tools and trinkets spill out, shining with cheerful colors.]
Geo Umizoomi examines the items, his eyes sparkling with ideas as he points to a sheet and a flashlight. Boots nods enthusiastically, bouncing on his heels, while Dora smooths out the fake ghost costume.
"We can use the backpack to make our own ghost! Ghosts are afraid of other ghosts, so we'll scare him away!"
"Great idea, Geo! Boots, let's set it up quickly!"
Boots[/@ch_2] holds the flashlight behind it. Shadows dance across the ground as the real ghost reappears, floating silently above the undergrowth.]
The ghost's eyes widen at the sight of the glowing, floating figure that Dora and her friends have created. Its mouth opens in terror, and it trembles violently, backing away.
"Oooooo! We're the big scary ghosts!"
The ghost shrieks, spinning around and fleeing deeper into the woods with a loud wail.
Dora[/@ch_1], Boots, and Geo Umizoomi laugh and high-five, their fear replaced by joy.]
"Yay! We did it! The ghost is gone!"
"You were so brave, Dora and Boots!"
"Thanks, Geo! You're the best!"
Dora[/@ch_1] sits with her mother, animatedly recounting the morning's adventure while Boots nibbles on a cookie.]
"Mami, you won't believe what happened! There was a ghost in the woods, but with Geo's help and my backpack, we scared it away!"
Dora's Mom smiles warmly, brushing a strand of hair from Dora's face.
"I'm so proud of you for being brave and helping your friends. You always find a way to solve problems together."
"Gracias, Mami! Today was amazing."
