Dora, her backpack bouncing with each step, walks beside Boots, whose big eyes scan the darkening woods. Suddenly, from behind a twisted oak, a ghostly white figure swoops out, trailing a sheet that flutters wildly in the wind. Both friends freeze, eyes wide and mouths agape, as the ghost lets out a chilling “Wooooooo!”
"D-Dora, did you see that?!"
"A ghost! Run, Boots, run!" They turn and sprint down the path, their hearts pounding as the ghostly laughter echoes behind them.
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_3] builds a castle, surrounded by colorful shapes and patterns.]
Dora and Boots burst into the playground, breathless and wide-eyed, startling Geo Umizoomi from his construction. Sand scatters as they skid to a stop.
"Geo! You won't believe what we saw! There’s a ghost in the forest, and it chased us!"
"It was so spooky, Geo! What do we do?"
"Don’t worry! We can solve this mystery together. Let’s find out who the ghost really is."
Geo Umizoomi whispers a plan to Dora and Boots, who nod, their faces set with determination. They quickly gather sticks and leaves, arranging them in a circle.
"Let’s be brave and show the ghost we’re not afraid!"
"Yeah! We can do this together."
As the ghost glides closer, Geo Umizoomi gives the signal.
Dora[/@ch_1], Boots, and Geo Umizoomi hold up their homemade dragon masks, roaring with all their might. Their shadows stretch across the trees, looming large and fierce. The ghost halts, trembling as the dragons’ faces glow in the moonlight.]
The ghost drops his sheet and lets out a terrified squeal. Dora stamps her foot, Boots waves his arms, and Geo Umizoomi jumps high, making the dragons seem even scarier.
"Boo! Be gone, ghost!"
"We’re not scared of you anymore!"
With a panicked yelp, the ghost turns and runs, tripping over roots and vanishing into the darkness.
Swiper the fox[/@ch_4], his mask askew and tail twitching. He looks up sheepishly, caught red-handed.]
"Swiper, it was you all along! Why were you pretending to be a ghost?"
"Aw, man! I just wanted to give you a little fright. But those dragons were way too scary for me!"
"Next time, Swiper, just ask to play. No more ghost tricks!"
"Yeah! We like games, but not scary ones!"
"Yay! We solved the mystery together!" The friends laugh and help Swiper up, brushing off his sheet.
Dora leans toward her mother, her eyes shining with excitement.
"Mamá, you’ll never believe what happened! Boots and I saw a ghost, but with Geo Umizoomi’s help, we found out it was Swiper all along. And then we scared him away with our dragon masks!"
Her mother smiles, hugging Dora close as the friends celebrate their bravery and teamwork, knowing that together, they can solve any mystery.
