Dora and Boots giggled as they explored, their colorful backpacks bouncing with each step. Suddenly, a chilly gust rustled the leaves, and a ghostly figure floated from behind a tree, glowing softly and making strange, wailing sounds. "D-Dora, did you see that?!" "¡Ay, caramba! That’s a… a ghost!" The two friends froze in fear, hearts pounding.
Dora grabs Boots' hand and they dash through the clearing, the ghost’s eerie wails echoing behind them. "Faster, Dora! It’s right behind us!" "We have to find help—maybe Geo Umizoomi knows what to do!" Their feet pound against the soft earth as they run toward the edge of the forest, desperate for safety.
Geo Umizoomi is tinkering with a robot when Dora and Boots burst in, out of breath and wide-eyed. "Geo, you have to help us! We saw a ghost in the forest and it chased us!" "A ghost? Don’t worry, team Umizoomi is on the case! Let’s investigate together." Boots shivers, but a glimmer of hope shines in his eyes.
Geo Umizoomi scans the ground with a gadget, revealing footprints and a piece of white fabric snagged on a bush. "Look, these footprints are too small for a ghost. And this cloth—it looks like part of a costume!" Dora’s eyes widen as she remembers something. "Wait a minute… I think I know who it is!"
Out steps Swiper the Fox, tangled in the white sheet, looking sheepish. "Swiper, was that you all along?" "Aw, man! I just wanted to scare you guys for fun. I didn’t mean to make you run so fast!" "I knew it! It was Swiper, not a real ghost. Next time, let’s all play together, okay?"
"Mami, we thought we saw a ghost, but it was just Swiper in a costume. Geo Umizoomi helped us figure it out!" Dora’s mom hugs her tight, smiling. Dora’s Mom"I’m so glad you’re safe. And I’m proud you solved the mystery together. Maybe next time, we’ll invite Swiper for dinner instead of a scare!" The friends laugh, the warmth of home chasing away any lingering fears.
