Dora and Boots dart between trees, splashing through puddles as thunder booms above them. Their eyes are wide with fear and confusion, unsure of where to run as the storm intensifies.
"Dora, the thunder is so loud! What if it gets worse?"
"Just keep running, Boots! We have to find help. Maybe Geo Umizoomi will know what to do!"
Dora and Boots scramble under the shelter, shivering and dripping wet. They spot Geo Umizoomi, who is busy sketching patterns in the mud, seemingly unfazed by the storm.
"Geo, we saw something scary in the rain! Lightning flashed, then we heard voices!"
"Don’t worry, Dora and Boots. Let’s figure out what happened together. Describe exactly what you saw and heard."
Dora points to some large footprints near a fallen tree, her brow furrowed with concern. Geo Umizoomi kneels beside the tracks, tracing them with his finger.
"These aren’t animal tracks. Someone was here, maybe even playing a trick."
"But why would someone scare us during a storm?"
Boots steps forward, his voice shaky but determined.
"Hello? Why were you making noises and hiding?"
The figure reveals herself as Tico the Squirrel, clutching a flashlight and a walkie-talkie.
"I’m so sorry! I was trying to scare away the crows. I didn’t know you were so close. I didn’t mean to frighten you."
Dora hugs Tico the Squirrel, smiling warmly. Geo Umizoomi reassures everyone with a grin.
"Thank you for helping us, Geo! And Tico, next time, let us know if you need help with the crows."
"I promise! I’ll be more careful. I’m glad we’re all safe now."
Boots skips beside Dora, his laughter echoing through the trees. Geo Umizoomi and Tico the Squirrel share stories, their friendship stronger after the adventure.
"I’m not scared of rainstorms anymore. Not with friends like you!"
"Every adventure is better together. Let’s always help each other, rain or shine!"
