Dora glanced around nervously, clutching her map as the woods grew darker. Suddenly, a ghostly white figure floated from behind a tree, its eyes glowing a mysterious green. Boots jumped, his tail puffing out from fright.
"D-Dora, what was that?"
"I-I think it was a ghost, Boots! Run!"
With a gasp, they sprinted down the path, leaves swirling behind them as the ghost gave chase, making spooky wailing noises.

Dora and Boots burst into the clearing, panting and wide-eyed. Geo Umizoomi looks up in surprise, setting down his tool.
"Geo, there's a ghost in the woods! It tried to scare us!"
"A ghost? Don't worry, Dora, Boots. We'll help you scare it away. Let's come up with a super scary plan!"
"What if we make scary noises and wear costumes?"
"Great idea, Boots! We'll use my sound machine and these shadow puppets to make everything extra spooky."
"And I'll yell 'Boo!' as loud as I can!"
Laughter mixes with excitement as they gather their supplies, determined to turn the tables on the ghost.
Geo Umizoomi presses a button. Suddenly, eerie howls and rattling chains echo through the air. Boots leaps out, wearing a big monster mask, while Dora waves her arms and shouts.
"Boo! Go away, scary ghost!"
The ghost’s eyes grow wide, and it trembles, looking more startled than ever.
"Wow, we really scared it!"
"Mission accomplished, team!"
Dora laughs and hugs her friends, relief washing over her. The woods feel safer now, filled with their triumphant voices.

"And then, with Geo and Boots, we scared the ghost away! It was so funny, mamá. I wasn't scared anymore."
Dora’s Mom, gentle and smiling, hugs Dora tightly.
"I’m proud of you for being brave and helping your friends. Now, let’s have some hot chocolate to celebrate!"
Dora beams, knowing adventure is always better with friends—and a little bit of courage.
