Dora[/@ch_1] and Boots walk along a winding forest path, birds chirping and flowers blooming on either side.]
Dora swings her backpack cheerfully as Boots hops beside her, the air filled with the scent of wildflowers and the gentle rustle of leaves. Suddenly, a low growl rumbles from behind a thick bush. The cheerful atmosphere shifts, and both friends stop in their tracks.
"Dora, did you hear that?"
"I did, Boots. Let’s be careful," she whispers, her eyes wide.
Dora[/@ch_1] and Boots.]
The bear’s fur glistens in the sunlight, its eyes curious yet intimidating. The friends freeze, hearts pounding, as the bear sniffs the air and takes a step closer.
"Dora, I’m really scared!" Boots clings to Dora’s arm, trembling.
"Me too, Boots. Let’s run—now!" With a burst of energy, both dash away, feet pounding the soft earth.
Dora[/@ch_1] and Boots arrive at a bright, bustling playground where Geo Umizoomi is building a colorful block tower.]
Dora and Boots collapse onto the playground bench, gasping for breath. Geo Umizoomi, with his blue suit sparkling in the sunlight, rushes over in concern.
"Geo! We just saw a bear in the forest!"
"A bear? Wow! Don’t worry, friends, I’ll help you," Geo assures them, his voice steady but kind.
The night air is cool and still, the only sound the soft crunch of twigs beneath their feet. The bear stands in their path, and all three freeze, fear flickering in their eyes.
"It’s back, Dora! What do we do?"
"Let’s go get our moms. They’ll know what to do!" Geo grabs Dora and Boots by the hand, and they take off toward home.
Dora’s Mom[/@ch_4], Boots’ Mom, and Geo’s Mom sit chatting.]
Dora hugs her mom tight, her voice shaky. Boots and Geo Umizoomi cling to their moms as well.
"Mom, we saw a bear and it followed us!"
"Don’t worry, sweetheart. Let’s see what’s really going on," Dora’s Mom replies, gathering the children close.
Swiper the Fox[/@ch_7] steps out, holding a fluffy bear costume.]
Swiper the Fox grins sheepishly, the bear head dangling from his arm. The children gasp in realization, relief washing over their faces.
"Sorry, everyone! I wanted to play a trick and didn’t mean to scare you,"
"Swiper! You really scared us, but we’re glad it was just you," Dora laughs, and soon everyone joins in, the night filled with giggles instead of fear.
