Dora hops down from her chair, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. She notices her friend Little Bill waiting anxiously at the doorway, clutching his empty hands. Boots, Dora’s loyal monkey friend, swings from the kitchen counter with excitement.
"Dora, I can’t find my favorite toy car! I think I lost it outside," Little Bill says, his voice trembling.
"Don’t worry, Little Bill! Let’s retrace your steps. Where did you last see your toy car?"
"I was playing near the big oak tree, then I went to the sandbox," replies Little Bill, pointing toward the tree.
"We’ll check everywhere! Let’s look for clues," Boots says, scanning the ground.
"Look! There’s a trail of tiny wheels in the sand," Boots exclaims, pointing to the faint tracks.
"That must be from Little Bill’s toy car," says Dora, kneeling down to investigate further. The friends follow the tracks, their excitement growing.
"There it is! My car!" Little Bill cheers, grabbing his toy and hugging it tightly.
"We found it together! Great teamwork, everyone," beams Dora, as Boots does a happy dance.
"Mom, we helped Little Bill find his missing toy car! We followed clues and worked together," Dora says, her face glowing with pride.
Dora’s Mom wipes her hands and kneels to listen.
"That sounds wonderful, Dora! I’m so proud of you and your friends," she replies warmly.
"Thank you, Dora and Boots! You made my day so much better," Little Bill says, grinning.
"Adventure is always more fun together," Boots adds, as Dora’s mom pours juice for everyone, her heart full of joy.
