Dora[/@ch_1] and Boots wander, their backpacks bouncing nervously as they glance around.]
Dora clutches Boots's hand as a chilly wind rustles the leaves. Suddenly, a ghostly figure flickers between the trees, glowing white and drifting closer. "Dora, did you see that?"
"Yes, Boots! Run!" They sprint, their hearts pounding, as the ghost lets out a haunting wail that echoes through the forest.
Dora[/@ch_1] and Boots rush through the darkness. The moon dips behind clouds, leaving only the faint glow of their flashlight and the eerie blue shimmer of the ghost.]
They stumble over roots and dodge low branches, their breath visible in the cold night air. The ghost seems to follow them, floating silently behind, its shape shifting and swirling. All night and all day, they run, exhaustion etched on their faces.
"I can't keep running, Dora. What if the ghost catches us?"
"We have to find help, Boots. Let's go to Geo Umizoomi!"
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_3], a clever boy with a blue helmet, stands by his workshop, surrounded by tools and gadgets.]
Dora and Boots burst in, breathless and frightened.
"Geo, we saw a ghost in the forest! It chased us all night!"
"A ghost? Don't worry, Dora and Boots. I'll help you!" He grabs his magnifying glass and a special ghost detector, ready to solve the mystery.
They spot the ghostly figure again, but as Geo approaches, the ghost suddenly trips over a fallen branch. The sheet slips off, revealing Miguel, Dora’s cousin, with a sheepish grin.
"Sorry, I was playing a prank. I just wanted to surprise you!"
"Miguel! You scared us so much!"
"It's okay, Miguel. But next time, warn us before you play ghost!"
"Mom, last night we thought we saw a ghost! It was really scary, but Geo helped us figure out it was Miguel all along."
Dora’s mom listens, hugging Dora tightly.
"I’m glad you’re safe, mi hija. You’re always brave, but remember to ask for help when you need it."
"And no more ghost pranks, please!"
Geo hands Dora a tiny flashlight as a token, and Miguel promises to stick to fun games instead of scary ones.
"Thanks, everyone. It’s much better to have friends than ghosts."
"Adventure is fun—with a little help from our friends!"
The night ends with smiles, as the stars twinkle above.
