Dora bounced excitedly, sorting through capes and hats in search of her favorite bandana. Boots, her loyal monkey friend, twirled a pirate hat on his head, giggling as he tried on oversized glasses. The room buzzed with anticipation for the Halloween party, but a worried voice interrupted their fun.

"Guys, I can't find my ghost costume anywhere! I checked my room, the closet, even under the couch," Little Bill called out, his eyes wide with concern. Dora hurried over, her face full of determination, while Boots leapt to her side, ready for adventure. "Don't worry, Little Bill! We'll help you find your ghost costume. Right, Boots?"
"Maybe it's in the laundry! Let's check," Boots suggested, skipping ahead. Little Bill checked behind the laundry basket, while Dora peeked under the pile of towels. No sign of the ghost costume—just socks and a stray superhero cape. Disappointed but undeterred, they headed toward the backyard, hoping for clues.
"Look, over there!" Dora pointed to the clothesline. Little Bill's eyes lit up as he dashed to the sheet. "That's my ghost costume! I remember now, I washed it after last year and hung it out to dry," he exclaimed, relief washing over his face. Boots clapped his hands, and the three friends cheered, the wind carrying their laughter.

"That was a fun adventure! I'm glad we could help you," Dora said, giving Little Bill a high five. "You make a great ghost, Little Bill!" Boots giggled as they admired their costumes in the mirror, ready for the party.

"Mami, guess what happened!" Dora recounted the whole adventure, excitement bubbling in her voice. "We helped Little Bill find his ghost costume in the backyard. It was hanging on the clothesline the whole time!" Dora's mom smiled proudly, handing out cookies as the friends gathered to celebrate their successful day.
