Dora and Boots arrive hand-in-hand, their backpacks bouncing with each excited step. Sunbeams filter through the canopy, painting shifting patterns across the grass. The sound of chirping birds mixes with the distant giggle of a child calling out for help.
"Look, Dora! There's Little Bill waving from the treehouse window! He looks worried,"
"Let's go see what's wrong. Maybe we can help!"
Little Bill[/@ch_3]'s furrowed brow as he searches beneath cushions.]
Little Bill glances up as Dora and Boots climb inside, his face brightening with hope. Plush animals and building blocks clutter the floor, but one beloved toy is missing.
"Hi, Dora! Hi, Boots! I can't find Elephant anywhere. He's my favorite toy, and I think I lost him,"
"Don't worry, Little Bill. We'll all look together and find Elephant! Where did you last see him?"
Boots crawls under a table, while Dora checks behind a stack of picture books. Little Bill retraces his steps, thinking hard about where Elephant might be hiding.
"Maybe Elephant wanted an adventure and is hiding somewhere fun!"
"Let's make a list of places to check. Did you play outside before coming in, Little Bill?"
"I think I did! We played hide and seek near the tire swing,"
Dora kneels down, examining the trail of footprints, while Boots bounces excitedly from one flower to the next. Little Bill follows, scanning the ground for any sign of his missing toy.
"Look! These footprints are small, just like Elephant's. Let's follow them,"
"Maybe Elephant wanted to smell the flowers too!"
"I hope we find him soon. I miss my bedtime friend,"
Dora gently lifts Elephant from the bush, brushing off a few petals. Boots dances in circles, while Little Bill's smile returns in full.
"We found Elephant! He must have wanted to play outside with you, Little Bill,"
"Thank you, Dora and Boots! I couldn't have done it without you,"
"Teamwork always helps us find the way!"
Little Bill cuddles Elephant, feeling safe and happy once again. Dora and Boots smile, proud to have helped their friend.
"Whenever you need help, just ask your friends. Adventures are always better together,"
"Next time, I'll make sure Elephant stays close by!"
"And we'll be here for every adventure!"
