Dora adjusts her purple backpack, eyes sparkling with excitement as she steps into the cheerful room. Boots, the mischievous monkey, swings from the bedpost with a giggle. Little Bill, a small boy with a worried frown, sits cross-legged on the rug, glancing around anxiously. "Good morning, Little Bill! What’s wrong?"
"I can’t find my favorite toy car. I had it last night, but now it’s gone," he says, voice trembling.
Boots crawls under the bed, tail flicking, while Dora gently lifts piles of picture books. "Don’t worry, Little Bill! We’ll find your toy. Let’s look for clues," he assures, voice bright.
Dora examines a trail of small, muddy footprints leading toward the hallway. "Look, footprints! Should we follow them?"
Little Bill tiptoes behind Dora and Boots, his face hopeful. They follow the footprints past a toppled shoe rack and a trail of cookie crumbs. "These footprints are small… maybe it was someone else who took the toy?"
Dora points to a squeaky closet door. "Let’s check in here!"
Boots gently pulls back a jacket, revealing a small, fluffy puppy clutching Little Bill’s toy car in its mouth. "My puppy must have taken it while I was sleeping," Little Bill exclaims, relief spreading across his face.
"Good job, everyone! We solved the mystery together," Dora says, sharing a high-five with her friends.

Dora’s Mom stands by the stove, stirring oatmeal with a gentle smile. "Mami, guess what happened! Little Bill’s toy car went missing, but we followed clues, found footprints, and discovered his puppy had it all along,"
"What clever detectives you all are! I’m so proud of you for working together," she replies, beaming at the children.
Little Bill hugs his toy car, eyes shining with gratitude. Boots munches on a banana, feet swinging happily under the table. "We make a great team. And every mystery is an adventure when we’re together!"
The friends all laugh, ready for the next day’s fun, their friendship stronger than ever.
