Dora and Boots walk hand-in-hand down the forest trail, giggling as they search for their favorite berries. Suddenly, from behind a mossy log, Swiper the fox, the cute crook, and Maximo the elf leap out, their eyes gleaming with mischief. "Yikes! Run for your lives, Boots!" "Aah! Let’s get out of here, Dora!" Their laughter turns to shrieks as they dash away, the three tricksters following close behind.
Dora and Boots burst into the clearing, breathless and wide-eyed. Geo Umizoomi stands near the clubhouse, tinkering with a gadget. "Geo! Geo! Swiper, the cute crook, and Maximo are chasing us!" "They jumped out and scared us! Can you help?"
Geo Umizoomi grins and pulls out a book of spooky ideas. "Don’t worry, Dora and Boots—I’ve got just the thing to scare them back! Let’s get some ghost costumes and set up a ghostly surprise!" The friends giggle nervously, gathering white sheets and glitter, their excitement growing.
Swiper the fox, the cute crook, and Maximo the elf creep along, looking for their next prank. Suddenly, the “ghosts” leap out, waving their arms and howling. "Oooooo! Beware of the forest ghosts!" "Run away before we haunt you forever!"
"Aaaah! G-g-ghosts! Save us!" "Run for your lives!" "I don’t like this kind of magic!" Dora, Boots, and Geo burst into laughter, clutching their sides with relief and joy.
Dora excitedly recounts the night’s adventure, waving her arms and making ghostly faces. "Mama, you won’t believe it! We scared Swiper, the cute crook, and Maximo away with our ghost costumes! Geo helped us, and we were so brave!" Dora’s mom smiles, hugging her tight and praising her courage. "Yay! We did it, mama!"
