Dora and Boots are walking home, giggling about their day, when the ghost swoops out from behind the tree with a ghostly wail.
"Dora, did you see that?!"
"A ghost! Run, Boots, run!"
They dash down the path, leaves crunching under their feet, hearts pounding as the ghost floats after them.
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_3] stands by a slide, looking up at the stars.]
Dora and Boots burst into the clearing, breathless and wide-eyed.
"Geo Umizoomi, we saw a ghost! It was so scary, and it's after us!"
"Don't worry, friends. We can work together and show that ghost we're not afraid—maybe we can even scare it away!"
Geo Umizoomi draws a quick plan in the dirt with a stick, outlining how they can pretend to be scary ghosts themselves.
"But how can we look like ghosts?"
"We can use these white sheets and spooky voices! Let's practice together!"
They wrap themselves in sheets, making funny ghost faces, and practice their most frightening ghostly sounds, giggling as they perfect their act.
Suddenly, all three leap out, waving their arms and moaning loudly.
"Oooooo! We are the super scary ghosts!"
"Leave this forest and never come back!"
The real ghost freezes, eyes wide with terror, and then lets out a shrill shriek.
Ghost: "Yikes! Ghosts! I’m out of here!"
Boots peeks out from under his sheet, laughing with relief.
"Yay! We did it! The ghost is gone!"
The friends cheer and high-five, feeling brave and proud beneath the twinkling stars.
Dora[/@ch_1] sits on the couch beside her Mom, still wrapped in her ghost sheet.]
"Mom, you won’t believe what happened! Boots and I saw a ghost, but with Geo Umizoomi’s help, we scared it away!"
"Oh Dora, I’m so proud of you for being brave and working together with your friends. Now, would you like some marshmallows in your hot chocolate?"
Boots grins, and they all share a laugh, knowing that courage and friendship can chase away even the scariest ghosts.
