Dora and Boots wandered slowly, their hands clutching each other tightly as they played near the old seesaw. Suddenly, a cold wind rushed past them, and a ghostly white shape flickered behind the monkey bars. "Did you see that, Boots? Something's there!" "I did, Dora! Let’s get out of here!" They both turned and sprinted away, their hearts pounding.
Dora and Boots spotted Geo Umizoomi sitting on a bench, tinkering with a small gadget. Breathless, they stumbled over, their eyes wide with fear. "Geo, we saw a ghost! It was floating near the monkey bars!" "A ghost? Don’t worry, I’ll help you both figure out what’s going on," Geo Umizoomi replied, standing up with determination.
Just as Geo Umizoomi tries to reassure them, two more ghostly figures suddenly appear, gliding between the swings and slides. Their glowing eyes and trailing sheets make the scene even more terrifying. "There’s more of them! Run!" Without hesitation, all three dash away, their feet barely touching the ground as the playground echoes with spooky giggles.
Dora's mom and Boots's mom appear with concerned faces, quickly wrapping their arms around the frightened kids. "Mamá, ghosts chased us in the playground!" "They were everywhere! Even Geo saw them!" The moms exchange knowing glances and gently guide the children to the living room, their voices soothing and warm.
Suddenly, two older siblings—Isabella and Manny—peek out, holding bedsheets and flashlights. "It was us! We wanted to play a spooky game and didn’t mean to scare you that much," "Sorry, everyone. We thought it would be funny!" The moms laugh softly, and the tension melts away.
Geo Umizoomi grins, and Boots hugs Dora tightly. "Next time, let’s have a not-so-scary adventure!" "Or at least bring cookies along for the ghosts!" Everyone giggles, relieved and happy, as the spooky night turns into a cozy, unforgettable memory.
