Dora and Boots hurried along a narrow path, clutching each other’s hands and looking around nervously. Suddenly, three enormous dragons appeared, scales shimmering green, blue, and red in the fading light. Their eyes glowed, and their wings stretched wide, casting massive shadows over the frightened duo.
"Boots, did you see those dragons?"
"Yes, Dora! We have to run!"
Panic surged through them, and they dashed off, the sound of snapping branches echoing behind them as the dragons gave chase.
Dora and Boots barely managed to cross a rickety bridge, the dragons’ roars fading as they reached the other side. They paused, breathless, struggling to calm their pounding hearts. Boots clutched Dora’s backpack, eyes wide, as they hurried towards their friend’s house.
"Let’s tell Geo Umizoomi! Maybe he can help us!"
"Good idea, Boots. I hope he knows what to do."
Geo Umizoomi looked up as Dora and Boots burst in, breathless and shaken. He listened intently as they described the dragons, his face serious but kind.
"Geo, we saw three scary dragons in the woods! They chased us!"
"Don’t worry, Dora and Boots. Let’s figure this out together,"
He pulled up a map and began searching for clues, inviting Dora and Boots to help him solve the mystery.
Geo, Dora, and Boots followed a trail of dragon scales, noticing something odd: the footprints were much smaller than expected. A giggle echoed from behind a tree, and Geo pointed towards the source.
"Look! Someone’s hiding over there,"
Dora and Boots approached cautiously, hearts racing, as the mystery deepened.
The trio revealed their secret, laughing as they took off their masks. Benny, Isa, and Tico explained how they wanted to surprise Dora and Boots, never realizing how scared their friends would be.
Benny, Isa, and Tico apologized, their faces full of concern and regret.
"We just wanted to play, not frighten you!"
"We’re so sorry, Dora and Boots,"
Dora and Boots forgave their friends, relieved and happy to learn the truth. Geo Umizoomi smiled, proud that everyone came together and solved the mystery. The group promised to always check in before playing big surprises, and the night ended with joyful songs and stories around the fire.
"Thanks for helping us, Geo. We’re lucky to have such good friends!"
"Anytime, Dora. Adventure is always better with friends!"
