Sophie, a bright-eyed seven-year-old with curly hair tied in a pink ribbon, sits at her desk, scribbling furiously in her notebook. Her imagination whirls as she writes down ideas for her future company.
"One day, I'm going to have my own bakery and everyone in town will come to taste my cupcakes," she says, glancing at her stuffed bear CEO and rabbit CFO.
Mom, Sophie's gentle and encouraging mother, listens as her daughter describes her vision.
"Mom, what does it take to run a business?"
"It takes hard work, big dreams, and a lot of heart. But most of all, you have to believe in yourself, Sophie,"
Sophie gathers her friends and family for a business meeting, handing out pretend cupcakes and homemade menus.
"We need to decide our best flavors and make sure every customer feels special," she announces, practicing her leadership skills with a confident smile.
Sophie feels her excitement waver as no one stops at her stand. She fidgets with her apron, trying to keep her spirits high.
"Maybe I'm not ready to be a business owner after all," she murmurs, her face falling.
"Every business faces tough days. The important thing is not to give up. Remember why you started," she tells Sophie, hugging her close.
"I wanted to make people happy with my treats," Sophie replies, a spark of determination returning to her eyes.
Sophie beams as she hands out cupcakes, her heart swelling with pride. Her friends cheer, and her mom gives her a proud thumbs-up.
"Thank you for believing in me. Someday, I'll have the best bakery in town!"
