Graham was on his way to the park, his backpack bouncing with each step. As he turned the corner, he froze. There, in the middle of the street, was a gigantic dinosaur! Its scales shimmered in the sunlight, and it seemed to be smiling down at him.
"Wow, a real dinosaur!" Graham exclaimed, his eyes wide with wonder. He had read about dinosaurs in books, but never did he think he'd meet one in real life!
The dinosaur, who seemed quite friendly, bent down to greet Graham. Dino was its name, and it had somehow wandered into this busy neighborhood.
"Hello, little friend! I'm Dino, and I'm a bit lost," the dinosaur said with a gentle rumble. Graham wasn't scared at all. Instead, he felt an exciting tingle of adventure.
"Let's find you a home, Dino!" Graham replied, grinning from ear to ear.
As they traveled, they met Molly, the neighborhood cat, lounging on a fence. Graham introduced Dino, and they shared a laugh about the unusual visitor.
"I heard the old playground by the hill is quite roomy," Molly suggested, flicking her tail thoughtfully.
"Thanks, Molly! Come on, Dino, let's check it out!" Graham cheered, leading the way.
Dino marveled at the sights, sniffing the flowers and watching the squirrels scamper by. Graham felt proud to show Dino around his neighborhood.
"This place is wonderful! But where is this playground?" Dino asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Just a little further, and we'll be there!" Graham assured him, pointing ahead.
Dino roared joyfully, the sound echoing through the park. Graham laughed, feeling a sense of accomplishment. The playground seemed like a perfect place for Dino to call home.
"Thank you, Graham. I'm so happy you helped me find this place," Dino said, giving Graham a gentle nudge with his snout.
"Anytime, Dino. Let's have more adventures together," Graham replied, imagining all the fun they would have.
There was a small party with balloons and treats. Everyone took turns riding on Dino's back, and Graham felt a joy unlike any other.
"I'm so glad to be here," Dino said, his eyes twinkling with happiness.
"And I'm glad to have met you," Graham replied, knowing this was the start of a wonderful friendship.
