Emmanuel clutched his mother's hand as they walked through the farm gate. His tiny feet bounced with every step, eagerly anticipating the day ahead. "Mama, look at all the animals!" he exclaimed, pointing to the barn where the animals were starting to stir.
The first animal to catch Emmanuel's attention was a fluffy white rabbit named Bessie. She hopped over to him, her nose twitching curiously. "Bessie is so white, like the clouds!" he giggled, reaching out to gently stroke her soft fur.
Emmanuel clapped his hands with delight when he spotted Pinky. "Look, Mama, Pinky is pink like my favorite shirt!" His mother nodded, encouraging his discovery, "Yes, sweetheart, and she's very happy in her mud bath."
Emmanuel found himself surrounded by a chorus of animal noises. A gentle cow nuzzled him, her coat a patchwork of black and white spots. "Her name is Daisy, and she's black and white like a piano!" his mother explained, as Emmanuel laughed.
Emmanuel was quiet for a moment, his mind replaying the day's vibrant encounters. "I like learning about colors, Mama," he murmured, leaning against her. "Can we come back tomorrow?"
Emmanuel's mother smiled, wrapping an arm around his small shoulders. "Of course, my love. There's always more to learn and see," she replied, as they made their way back home, the day's colors still dancing in Emmanuel's mind like a joyful rainbow.
