Enya sat on her bedroom floor, surrounded by colorful stuffed animals. Her brown hair shimmered in the morning light as she gazed at her reflection in a mirror, practicing her best big sister smile. "I can't wait to meet you, Milo," she whispered, imagining her little brother giggling in her arms.
Madison and Izaac, Enya's parents, chuckled as they watched Enya attempt to flip a pancake with her toy spatula. "Are you ready to teach Milo how to make pancakes, Enya?" Madison asked, her hand resting on her growing belly. "Yes, Mommy! And we'll have pancake parties every morning!" Enya declared with a grin.
Izaac carefully placed a plush turtle beside the crib, while Enya arranged a row of storybooks on a low shelf. "This will be Milo's favorite," he said, handing Enya a well-loved book about a brave little bear. "I'll read it to him every night," Enya promised, imagining the sound of Milo's sleepy breaths as she read.
Enya soared on the swing, feeling the wind rush through her long hair. Her eyes sparkled with adventure as she thought of all the things she'd teach Milo. "We'll climb trees and ride bikes," she shouted to the sky, her voice filled with excitement. Madison and Izaac watched nearby, their hearts full of love for their adventurous daughter.
Enya yawned, her thoughts drifting to dreams of being the best big sister. Madison tucked her in, brushing a tender kiss on her forehead. "Goodnight, Mommy. Goodnight, Milo," she murmured, resting her hand gently on Madison's belly, feeling a tiny kick in response.
The moment had finally arrived. Enya stood by Madison's side, her eyes wide with awe as she gazed at her new baby brother. Izaac gently placed Enya's hand on Milo's tiny fingers. "Hello, Milo," Enya whispered, her heart overflowing with love and the promise of many adventures to come.
