Enzo nestles closer to his favorite blue blanket, his nose twitching with the scent of breakfast. Even though he loves snuggling with his family, he worries about the day ahead—especially the noisy world outside. His ears perk up as distant sounds drift in, making him shiver just a little.
"Good morning, Enzo! Ready for the park?"
Enzo gives a small, hopeful wag, but his heart feels fluttery. The park means big dogs, loud barks, and lots of excitement. He glances at his family, wishing he could be brave like them.
Enzo tiptoes beside his family, his fur shining in the sunlight. He feels scared when a big dog bounds past, so he hides behind his person’s legs. Still, he tries to listen to the birds and watch the butterflies, hoping they’ll help him forget his worries for a moment.
Enzo sees Willow’s frightened eyes and feels a big squeeze in his chest. He’s scared of the crackling branches and worried about the other dogs nearby, but his gentle heart wants to help. He remembers how kindness matters, even when he feels scared.
"I can do this... I want to help,"
With soft, careful movements, Enzo helps Willow wiggle free. The kitten purrs and rubs against his nose, making Enzo’s tail wag with relief and pride. For a moment, he forgets all about being scared and feels brave inside.
Enzo feels proud of himself, knowing he was brave even while feeling scared. He snuggles close, surrounded by love and warmth. In his heart, he believes he can be brave again whenever someone needs him, and that makes him happy.
